Wildhorse Golf Club

Located in Davis, California, Wildhorse Golf Club is home to a popular 18-hole course designed by award-winning course architect Jeff Brauer. The par-72 course has been named by readers of the Davis Enterprise Newspaper as the Best Public Golf Course in Yolo County.

Located along the scenic Wildhorse Agricultural Trail, the tightly-manicured fairways and greens feature trees, bunkers, ponds and the meandering Covell Creek. The layout includes a mix of par 3s, 4s, and 5s with some holes boasting challenging ravines, water hazards and sand traps. Throughout play, enjoy the added treat of mountain views to the east and west.

Wildhorse was established in 1999 and runs 6,828 yards with rye grass fairways and greens. It’s fun and challenging for players of all levels of skill and offers an excellent value.

The practice facilities also feature 24 practice mats on a top-of-the-line artificial range strip plus 30 grass stalls, which are open Friday, Saturday and Sunday in late spring, summer, and early fall. The range, which closes two hours before dusk on Tuesdays, may also be closed due to wet weather and flooding. Call for availability.

The course is open to the public daily from 6:00 a.m until 8:00 p.m. (2021 rates) or choose from a range of annual membership options. Book a tee time online or call (530) 753-4900.

Visit Wildhorse Golf Club for details. The course is located at 2323 Rockwell Drive in Davis, California (95618).
