Energize your Fitness with Zumba
Many residents know we make every effort to keep our program offerings fluid, refreshed and invigorating. If class attendance drops, we monitor the class and we make changes to our calendar as we strive to offer a variety of classes at all levels to keep you engaged.
That commitment is why we’ve recently added Circuit Training with Andre and the Paradise Pump Class with Karen, both of which have turned out to be very popular. We’re also proud to announce our newest class offering: Zumba® with Andrea. Zumba mixes low-intensity and high-intensity moves as part of an interval-style, calorie-burning workout/dance party. In fact, participants often have so much fun they forget they’re actually exercising!
Zumba classes are held on Fridays at 10 a.m. in the Activity Room. The workouts feature fun, easy-to-pick-up dance routines that are set to an energizing blend of Latin and world music. People of all fitness levels turn to Zumba for a total workout that combines cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility in a single class.
If you haven’t tried these new offerings on our Fitness and Living Well calendar, resolve to try them out in 2018. We think you’ll find Zumba a fun way beat holiday weight gain and keep you feeling forever young all year long!
