All-inclusive Living Includes a Residential Refresh
Throughout the 1990s, planning and construction of a new military-friendly Life Plan Community had proceeded full-tilt. Our all-inclusive, 76-acre master planned campus came to life in 1997. That November, three couples became the first residents of Paradise Valley Estates.
Prime positioning near the popular Paradise Valley Golf Course and next to a protected hillside preserve was the idyllic setting for the palette of single-level homes, duplexes and several low-rise apartment buildings. Timeless stucco exteriors and ceramic tile roofing brought California style to the development. Spacious interiors featured abundant natural light and contemporary aesthetics.
More than 20 years later, we’re preparing for the opening of The Ridge, our new neighborhood, and wrapping up a stylistic update of many campus community spaces. Next step? Refresh our residences. And that work has already begun.
As Angelica notes in the video, the timing couldn’t be better. Styles have changed, and residents’ preferences have evolved. There are new products and offerings to bring more modern beauty and comfort to everyday life.
In the past year, open homes have been renovated before new residents moved in. New residents have the opportunity to choose a preferred, designer-curated palette including cabinets, countertops, kitchen backsplash, tile, carpet and brushed nickel hardware. Along with new stainless steel appliances, residents can opt to add upgrades such as accent paint, window treatments, custom closets, pet friendly doors and more.
The effort will be overseen by our construction manager and renovations coordinator to make the process as seamless and stress-free as possible for residents. A special software platform will help manage the selections and expedite the renovation timeline with as little disruption as possible. Our team will provide design and consultation support with pricing that meet residents’ vision and budget.
As we move forward with the next phase of our master plan, the changes will keep coming. One thing’s for sure as residents already begin to embark on the refresh — the next chapter in our community’s history is going to be beautiful.
