Spring Comes to PVE
“It’s the most wonderful time of the year,” sings Andy Williams and December at Paradise Valley Estates is certainly an enjoyable experience, with tree lighting and carol singing and all kinds of good things going on to make it special. But for me, there is one seasonal event I look forward to even more as the years go by, because it is truly a spectacular occurrence.
For a few days, maybe a week or so, then it’s over for another year. I suspect that no one who experiences the breathtaking scene can fail to be impressed by the beauty. As you approach the entrance to our community on a sunny spring day, it’s just ahead. Not only can you see the vibrant green hills below the deep blue sky, but also there’s an avenue of Bradford Pear trees, all in bloom. As the trees sway gently in the breeze, petals gently drift down from the masses of white blossoms to the ground, like tiny snowflakes.
For me, this seasonal snow is a special gift from nature. It may be “out of season,” but it is truly an awe-inspiring gift.
