PVE Welcomes New CEO

This summer Paradise Valley Estates welcomed a new chief executive officer, Kevin Burke. Kevin and his wife, Lisa, arrived on campus in June. Despite having a quite full plate his first week, Kevin pushed away from his desk and work to enjoy some camaraderie and great food with PVE residents at the weekly Friday continental breakfast.

Kevin and Lisa received a hearty “Welcome!” from the multitude of residents who attended the breakfast. Resident Jack McNichols presented Kevin, who most recently managed a senior living community in Massachusetts, with a San Francisco Giants cap. Kevin and Lisa also met a few four-legged friends at the al fresco breakfast including Tootsie Roll and her owner resident, Carole Morgan.

Kevin shared that he believes half his time in the community should be spent among residents, keeping in close contact with the community’s heartbeat. Col. Bud Ross, who had been acting interim CEO, represented the Northern California Retired Officers Community board of directors in welcoming Kevin at such an exciting time in the community’s long history.

“Kevin brings years of success managing continuing care retirement communities, and is exactly the right person to lead PVE at this critical juncture in its 20th year,” said Col. Ross.
