Paradise Valley Estates Staff Enjoy Preview Tour of The Ridge

With The Ridge, Paradise Valley Estates’ new 70-home neighborhood, slated for completion in 2021, the hillside area of campus is a bustling construction zone. In late January, Paradise Valley Estates held the first site tour for staff of the 76-acre Life Plan Community, treating employees to an up-close view of the eight-acre expansion being added to the Solano County campus.

Team members toured the site by bus, with guides answering questions about the site plans, construction progress and completion targets. The tour traveled along the neighborhood’s nearly complete road system visiting key sites such as villa buildings, private cottages, the Clubhouse, Amenities Building and Environmental Center.

For many, the rolling tour of The Ridge was a first look at progress on the site such as the villas’ structural vertical framing that now tops under-building parking and individual cottage foundations which will soon support wood framing.

Merry Thomas, an accountant at Paradise Valley Estates, found the progress exciting. “I have walked past the project many times but could not appreciate what was going on behind the scenes,” she says. “I was most impressed with the villas and their elevator access and balconies to enjoy the gorgeous view.”

While the open-style cottages and villa apartments are a primary focus for many future residents, Paradise Valley Estates staff know the community’s new common areas will be popular for all campus residents. “There are so many social activities here, I think residents will especially enjoy the outdoor plaza, the Clubhouse with indoor/outdoor dining plus a cocktail lounge, and the Amenities Building with its classroom and art studio.”
