Local Planner: Beat-lele Beatles Ukulele Tribute

On Friday, November 30, fans of The Beatles can experience a unique evening with Beat-lele, a ukulele tribute to The Beatles, and their special guest Faith Ako.

These four, Hawaiian Beatle-loving musicians have performed as a traditional Beatles tribute band for years — even performing at the Cavern Club at the International Beatle Week Festival in Liverpool. Today they fuse two of their loves into one unforgettable evening: Beatles music played on ukuleles. For their Fairfield show, they’ll be joined by Faith Ako, the Bay Area’s premier female artist in traditional and contemporary Hawaiian music for more than two decades.

The four musicians of Beat-lele — Sonny Aquino, Nolet Quiason, Alastar McNeil and Dennis Muth — sing and perform their way through the band’s catalog from early bops like Love Me Do through later hits including Let It Be and Abbey Road.

Celebrate your love of The Beatles with island-style flair at Fairfield Community Center’s Willow Hall (1000 Kentucky Street in Fairfield, CA 94533) on Friday, November 30 from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. PST. Tickets are $15. Show details and tickets.
