Brothers Down Pearl Harbor Day Livestream

The MacArthur Memorial and the Hampton Roads Naval Museum are commemorating the 80th anniversary of Pearl Harbor with a free virtual webinar that’s open to the public. RSVP to join the webinar livestream on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, beginning at 7:00 pm EST/ 4:00 pm PST.

The webinar will feature historian Walter Borneman who has authored the book “Brothers Down: Pearl Harbor and the Fate of the Many Brothers Aboard the USS Arizona.” His book shares perspective from the 38 sets of brothers — 78 brothers in all — who served on the Arizona that fateful December day.

Attend the webinar to learn more about the morning of December 7, 1941, when the Imperial Japanese Navy attacked American military installations at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The attack, which led to the deaths of more than 2,000 people, drew the United States into the Second World War.

If you’d like to attend the free event, just RSVP online. A Q&A featuring Borneman will follow the livestream.
