Return to a bygone era in Northern California on the elegant Napa Valley Wine Train. The 36-mile defunct rail line, originally built in 1864 to transport travelers to Calistoga, was refashioned into a luxury wine train in 1989 and now travels back and forth between Napa and St. Helena each day.

The Napa Valley Wine Train travels around to different wineries, offers multi-course onboard dining and regularly hosts more than 12 tours and experiences. Choose from a range of tour experiences including four daily tours that last two to six hours or a special event like the monthly Murder Mystery dinner. The train’s renovated, antique railcars are staffed by engineers and conductors as well as food and service experts who prepare gourmet dining for many of the railway’s guests.
