Fast-forward (quite) a few years, and here at PVE I was invited to join a group of cycling enthusiasts known as the PVE Pedalers.
All PVE residents are fortunate in being able to choose opportunities from a wish list of volunteer activities that draw on our strengths, talents and interests.
The first residents to arrive at PVE in 1997 through 2000, affectionately known as the Originals, were honored at an elegant dinner party at Rawlinson Hall this past spring.
When the New York-based Mark Morris School of Dance performed at the Mondavi Arts Center, we were totally overwhelmed by their talent and creativity.
“I’m melting….” wailed the Wicked Witch of the West, in the legendary film version of The Wizard of Oz.
In August, PVE residents were busy posting photos on Instagram as part of a month-long Photo Challenge contest
Assisted living at Laurel Creek is composed of 28 private rooms, and residents are encouraged to personalize their individual accommodations with items brought from their former residences.
