Ridge Ground-Breaking Celebration
The Ridge officially broke ground on March 27 in a well-attended event before community and civic leaders, future Ridge residents and Paradise Valley Estates community members. In addition to hearing from featured speakers, Perkins Eastman’s Leslie Moldow, the neighborhood’s principal architect and designer, presented CEO Kevin Burke with a silver award from the National Association of Home Builders honoring The Ridge for a Best of 55+ Housing Award.

New year, more progress.
With the ground work preparation complete, construction is making visible strides. The water and sewer infrastructure are being moved into place and footprints have been dug out to reflect the placement of buildings, villas and cottages. Once city inspections are complete we can keep moving ahead despite any slowdowns or weather delays. The timing couldn’t be better as half of the residences in The Ridge have already been reserved!

How will depositors be updated on construction?
This space will serve as the official source for construction updates. If you have specific questions on the status of your new home at The Ridge, feel free to contact Heather Ramirez at heatherr@pvestates.com or 1.800.326.0419.

 

What is the process for selecting interior finishes for new homes at The Ridge?
Beginning in 2019, future residents of The Ridge will meet with their sales coordinator to review interior finishes including floor coverings, countertops and paint colors. Upgrade options will be available in select areas such as window treatments, closet organizers, floor coverings and others.

 

Will depositors get together from time to time? Will there be group meetings people are expected need to attend?
Our goal is to make sure future residents are connected to all that’s happening throughout the development of The Ridge. We’ll host a mix of informative meetings to keep everyone updated, along with social events designed to help everyone get to know each other. We’ll organize additional events based on ideas and feedback from the group.

What kind of assistance is available to help future residents with moving to The Ridge?
Paradise Valley Estates has a long-standing partnership with Gentle Transitions, a highly reputable team of senior living relocation experts. Residents of The Ridge will be assigned a Move Manager, who will help residents with all aspects of transitioning to their new home, from downsizing and furniture placement to directing the entire moving day experience.

 

How will people be able to see how construction is coming along?
In addition to posting photo updates, we’ll install a construction cam here so people can have a real-time look at how things are progressing. We will organize hard hat tours at appropriate milestones, keeping safety as our #1 priority.

 

Will residents have an official walk-through of their homes before moving in?
Yes. When homes at The Ridge are ready, our staff will coordinate final, private walk-throughs so residents can see all the finishing touches. There will be ample time between this tour and move-in day, with plenty of support resources available from our staff.
