At Paradise valley Estates, we believe that our responsibilities don’t stop with our own residents. We want to be an active participant in initiatives that serve all older adults in Solano County and beyond. This dedication and interest was front and center on Friday, March 27, 2015.
Linda Johnson, representing Paradise Valley Estates, joined 200 other professionals and caregivers at the Fairfield Community Center. The event was a Solano County Education Conference on understanding memory loss. It was put on by the Area Agency on Aging and the Alzheimer’s Association.
The 6-hour conference covered various topics relating to Alzheimer’s Disease and dementia. Subjects covered a variety of issues from Medication and Behavior Management to Financial and Legal Planning for Long Term Care.
Linda staffed a Paradise Valley Estates sponsor table offering information on the community. Dining Services Director David Kalbaugh and Executive Chef Dwayne Scott also supported the conference by providing 200 box lunches for the attendees and presenters.
