WELL, WE HAVE!
Paradise Valley Estates has the great Termite Club on campus with many fine wood workers and craftsmen working together to share their projects with the community. The residents are so fortunate to be the recipient of their beautiful works in many areas in the Community Center as well as their homes. There are over 40 members who work in their PVE workshop and contribute time and talents the residents so appreciate. Ray Arnold, Chairman this year, was the great Master of Ceremonies who thanked the diners for coming, the Manny Gutierrez Band for their music, then introduced the new members that have joined these talented gentlemen.
Each summer, the Termites treat us all to a fabulous party in the Main Dining Room with a wonderful dance band. This is the third year that the Manny Gutierrez Band has been asked to play for this special event because they play such great dance music. That music brought the party-goers to their feet quickly and filled the floor with happy couples. Many still know how to cut-a-rug as we used to say.
There was a special menu for the evening that was delicious and made a gorgeous presentation. There were smiling faces in the Main Dining Room which was full to the capacity. It was evident that the residents were once again having a wonderful time that the Termites put on for us each year. We all are very appreciative of all the work they do and have done for us and our community.
