Diplomatic Service at PVE

From the earliest days, people who planned to be residents gave their time and energy to connect with others considering a move to Paradise Valley Estates. Almost immediately after the community opened, that activity became a coordinated and planned group known as The Ambassadors Club.

About 28 residents gathered for the first organizational meeting where they discussed their purpose. The most popular club on the PVE campus is open to everyone and now numbers well over 200 people! There are still quite a few members from that original group of pioneers.

The Ambassadors offer assistance to future and incoming residents in so many ways. They host visitors for meals and other marketing events. The gracious and cordial invitations to visit Ambassadors’ own homes have become a hallmark of hospitality offered here. This provides a valuable glimpse into life at Paradise Valley.

The Ambassadors are also charged with assisting new residents in understanding the many features, programs and services that add to the pleasures of retirement living at the community. Ambassadors are often the first new friends of incoming residents and often become long term friends and advisors.

Celebrating the successes and recruiting new Ambassadors is another important part of the group’s activities. Each quarter the Ambassadors gather to celebrate new and future residents, as well as enjoy a few jokes and some refreshments. At the most recent gathering, the Multi-Purpose Room was packed. As usual, some of the newest PVE members were recruited into the club!
