Our courageous and skilled professional teacher and resident, Kim Marshall, offered a Spanish immersion class. There are plans for more in September. We learned proper annunciation, practiced tongue thrusts, and rolled “R’s” as we worked with the alphabet, days of the week and months, counted numbers, and learned some intricacies of the culture. We also practiced “Caperucita Roja” (Little Red Riding Hood) for performance in costume at a special Spanish dinner held at the conclusion of class. All of the wait staff spoke Spanish and we ordered ours meals in Spanish as well. It was great fun for all. Now hurry September, so we can have more “Spanish” fun!
