Paradise Valley Estates was recently named a 2015 Gold Pinnacle Award winner by NuStep, a leading exercise equipment manufacturer. The national award, first established in 1998, recognizes senior living communities that excel in whole-person wellness programming and promote active living for seniors. Paradise Valley Estates earned the top designation: a gold award.
While Paradise Valley Estates has always championed active living throughout every stage of life, the award showcases the community’s commitment to providing residents with the highest quality of life possible. According to Jan Olson, Fitness and Living Well Manager of Paradise Valley Estates, whole-person wellness helps residents live fully and abundantly. “When residents are active and have a high quality life, they’re able to remain independent, enjoy functional living, and have fun, too.”
Whole-person wellness is rooted in the belief that wellness has seven interdependent dimensions: social, vocational, spiritual, physical, intellectual, emotional, and environmental. A special ceremony and presentation of the Gold Pinnacle Crystal award is planned for January 2015 at Paradise Valley Estates. As a Gold Pinnacle Award winner, the community also will receive a NuStep T5XR Recumbent Cross Trainer.
